Allene Hyatt is an instructional designer at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE) where she partners with faculty and academic leaders to design and implement engaging, effective digital learning environments.
She has spent over 20 years working across diverse educational settings, beginning as an elementary educator in Pittsburgh Public Schools before transitioning into roles in student services, training, program and curriculum development, and the creation of learner-centered online experiences in higher education.
Hyatt is particularly interested in leveraging emerging educational technologies to drive excellence in instructional delivery and learner success.
