Anne Doring is the Director of Online Academic Programs at the University of Pittsburgh Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE). She provides leadership for the development, implementation, and growth of online academic programs across the University, working closely with faculty, academic leaders, and institutional partners to advance high-quality digital learning experiences. Her work focuses on online program strategy, curriculum and course development, instructional quality, accessibility, student success, and the effective integration of educational technologies. Through cross-campus collaboration, she helps expand access to education while supporting the University's commitment to academic excellence and innovation.
With more than 20 years of experience in higher education, instructional design, and learning technology, Doring has led initiatives in online learning, faculty development, continuing education, program evaluation, and organizational learning. She is an experienced educator, researcher, and practitioner dedicated to creating learner-centered educational experiences that improve outcomes for students, faculty, and professionals.
