Dan Pinsky is an Educational Technologist with the University of Pittsburgh Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE). Their work focuses on instructional technology used for online learning courses, focusing on both enterprise-wide tools like Canvas, Panopto and Zoom, as well as a broad range of department and program specific utilities. Their professional interests include faculty excellence through tools training, knowledge base development and providing direct consultation and support with university users.
Dan has worked in the field of instructional technology for over 13 years, contributing to the deployment and training of key online services at Pitt, such as Canvas, Panopto and Zoom. Their experience includes digital video editing, vendor outreach, and troubleshoot issues with Pitt Digital.
Dan is also an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh School of Film and Media Studies Program. Outside of the University, they enjoy video essays, writing, fitness, and travel.
