Parker Story

Instructional Designer

Parker Story is an Online Instructional Designer with the University of Pittsburgh Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE). His work focuses on consulting with educators on the design, development, and delivery of moderately complex instructional materials and the integration of instructional technologies. His professional interests include accessible course design, faculty collaboration and training, learning engineering, and adult learning theory.

Story has worked in the field of instructional design for over 3 years, contributing to course and program design and planning, digital accessibility initiatives, and instructional design process improvement. His experience includes monitoring course development timelines, maintaining alignment with program outcomes and brand standards, and implementing continuous improvement processes.

Story is also an alumnus of the University of Tennessee. Outside of the University, he sings with the choral group Nashville in Harmony and enjoys reading and watching French media.
