Robin Albright is a senior instructional designer with the University of Pittsburgh Center for Excellence in Digital Education (Pitt EDGE). Her work focuses on course- and learning-materials development for credit-bearing and continuous education courses, as well as other emerging online and hybrid programs. Her research and design interests include learning engineering, design thinking, learning management systems, data analysis, faculty support and adult learning theory.
Albright has been in the field of higher education technology for over 15 years, working within curriculum development teams; developing, designing and planning online courses; monitoring the course development process to meet course offering deadlines; monitoring curricular integrity as it relates to subject matter and program outcomes; achieving quality control and alignment with brand standards; and pursuing course revision toward continuing course improvement.
Albright is also an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. Outside of the University, she is also a yoga and Pilates instructor and enjoys reading books, hiking with her dogs and going to the movies.
